The final episode of WWE SmackDown before the Survivor Series Wargames will air live from the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, Rhode Island on November 25, 2022.

WWE has announced that Braun Strowman and The Butch will take on Ricochet and Santos Escobar, respectively, in the semi-finals of the WWE SmackDown World Cup on an upcoming show. Additionally, Bianca Bellar will be announcing the final member of her team for the WarGames match.

The two tag team matches announced for Friday night were Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey vs. Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzy and Drew McIntyre and Sheamus vs. The Usos in Wargames Advantage match.

On that note, let’s look at five things that can happen at a go-home show.

#5. Braun Strowman and Santos Escobar qualified for the finals of the WWE SmackDown World Cup

The upcoming episode of the blue brand will witness the semi-finals of the SmackDown World Cup. Braun Strowman will lock horns with Ricochet, while Butch will battle Santos Escobar for a spot in the finals.

Fans expect Strowman and Escobar to win their respective fights to secure a spot in the finals. While Strowman is expected to dominate Ricochet, the creative team should have The Bloodline or Legado cost Butch in his match.

On another note, seeing as how WWE teased a potential feud between Strowman and Gunther on previous episodes of WWE SmackDown, The Monster of All Monsters is the hot favorite to win the whole thing and win a championship match against The Ring General.

#4. Shotzi and Raquel Rodriguez won big

Ronda Rousey will join forces with Shayna Baszler to face Shotzi and Raquel Rodriguez in a tag team match on Friday night. However, this won’t bode well for the Rousey-Bazler duo, as the babyfaces could walk away with a big win.

With Shotzi facing off against Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Survivor Series Wargames, WWE can’t afford for her to look weak the day before the event. Therefore, fans expect Blackheart to show character to lead her team to victory.

The creative team may also protect The Baddest Woman on the Planet and help Baszler get the pin at the upcoming show.

#3. Bray Wyatt vs. LA Knight Survivor Series has been announced for Wargames

Bray Wyatt apologized for headbutting LA Knight on the previous edition of WWE SmackDown. However, it ended with the latter slapping The Eater of Worlds twice.

Later in the show, Knight is found lying on the floor after an off-camera reveal. Although it has not yet been confirmed, Wyatt seems to be the man behind the attack, which may be revealed in an upcoming episode of Blue Brand.

Given their ongoing feud, WWE could announce a high-profile match between the two for Friday’s Survivor Series Wargames.

#2. Drew McIntyre & Sheamus get the advantage for their team

Drew McIntyre and Sheamus are set to lock horns with The Usos in a Wargames Advantage match on an upcoming episode of WWE SmackDown.

However, with potential interference from The Bloodline, The Brawling Brutes and Kevin Ones more likely, expect this to turn south sooner rather than later. Nevertheless, the babyface duo is expected to overcome the odds and gain entry advantage for their team.

However, it could end in chaos as another clash between the two teams could happen on Friday night.

#1. Becky Lynch returns

Bianca Belair will reveal the fifth and final member of her team for the Women’s Wargames match on an upcoming episode of WWE SmackDown. While many names are being discussed, Becky Lynch seems to be leading the race.

According to recent reports, Big Time Becks could be revealed as the final member of the babyface side. If WWE doesn’t delay the reveal until Survivor Series, the former Women’s Champion could make her blockbuster return to the company on Friday night.

With Lynch rumored to face Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 39, she is expected to be made an exclusive for the blue brand upon her return.
