It looks like The Bloodline will battle The Brawling Brutes at War Games this month at WWE Survivor Series.

WWE had previously advertised Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos, Solo Sequoia and Sami Zayn for the War Games, but there was no word on who their opponents might be. Tonight’s post-Crown Jewel and Veterans Day edition of SmackDown ended with The Bloodline and The Brawling Brutes brawling in the ring.

Rings brought The Bloodline to the ring for what was billed as a “special moment” from The Tribal Chief. After Paul Heyman praised The Usos for holding on to The New Day in tonight’s opener, Reigns talked about how it’s not easy being his cousin because he’s always been acknowledged for his greatness throughout his life. Then Reigns said it seemed like this moment would never happen… but the music interrupted and out came Ridge Holland and Butch.

Holland spoke from the stage and said they were tired of Bloodline playing the numbers game, so tonight they brought back-up for fight night. The Celtic warrior then came out and declared that this was the beginning of the end of the bloodline. Reigns and The Usos laugh at Sheamus and taunt The Brawling Brutes. This led to a brawl in the arena. Bloodline dominated until the music interrupted and Drew McIntyre evened the odds.

McIntyre took out The Usos, then met Sequoia in the middle of the ring for payback for WWE Clash at The Castle. McIntyre beats Sequoia but hits a big boot to the face of Reigns. Reigns attacked McIntyre until Sheamus grabbed Reigns from behind. The leaders of the two factions battled until their partners hit the ring, and the feud continued as SmackDown aired.

Zayn wasn’t on tonight’s SmackDown and Cole mentioned that he doesn’t deal with personal matters. Zayn was not at WWE Crown Jewel last weekend because he does not travel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for WWE events due to religious differences.

Although not officially announced, it appears that Reigns, The Usos, Sikoa and Zayn vs. Sheamus, Holland, Butch, McIntyre and one superstar to be announced, maybe Kevin Owens. Owens and Zayn have been rumored to be working together on the Blue brand at some point, as mentioned in this link. It is possible that Owens first feuded with his best friend and former tag team partner before they decided to reunite to challenge The Usos, which has been rumored.

Sheamus had the past few weeks off as he got married over Halloween weekend in New York City. McIntyre worked the Crown Jewel to defeat Carrion Cross in a steel cage match, but he also missed a few shows due to attending Sheamus’ wedding. Sheamus was injured after WWE attacked Sheamus with The Bloodline a few weeks ago, and it was later said that he was suffering from a broken elbow and arm in a sling. Michael Cole noted on tonight’s commentary that the storyline elbow injury is on the mend.
