WWE Survivor Series is just around the corner. The premium live event will air on November 26 from TD Garden in Boston.
In previous years, the event pitted RAW against SmackDown in a battle for brand supremacy. However, during the current presentation of WWE Survivor Series, the company is moving away from brand vs. brand matches and will feature WarGames matches.
During an interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Riju Dasgupta, Bayley revealed that she would choose Rhea Ripley to join Damage Ctrl for a WarGames match. In a previous article, we looked at three women, besides The Nightmare, who could join Bailey and co. Inside the brutal structure.
However, the question remains as to who will go up against the heel team at WarGames.
Listed below are five Superstars who could potentially team up and take on Damage CTRL in a Wargames match at WWE Survivor Series.
#5. Bianca Belair can lead a babyface team in WarGames
Let’s make the obvious choice right off the bat. Bianca Belair and Bayley just can’t stand each other. Since last year, there is a fierce competition between them. The Role Model tore her ACL before her match against The EST at Money in the Bank 2021. She then returned this year at SummerSlam to resume the tournament.
Baylor defeated Bayley in a ladder match to retain the RAW Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules. Bayley was able to earn a rematch in a Last Woman Standing match at Crown Jewel.
Bianca and Bayley seem to be testing each other’s terms as their rivalry continues, and they have yet to meet in a WarGames match.
4. Asuka will try to get more damage than CTRL
Asuka, Bianca Bellair, and Alexa Bliss faced Damage Ctrl in a six-woman tag team match at Clash at the Castle. Bayley pinned the RAW Women’s Champion to get the win for Damage CTRL at the premium live event.
Prior to the ladder match at Extreme Rules, Bayley and Bianca Bellair signed a contract on the October 3 episode of RAW. Women’s Tag Team Champions Dakota Kai and IYO SKY attack Asuka and Alexa Bliss backstage.
The empress of tomorrow will want to take revenge on the group that attacked her in the battle of wargames.
3. Alexa Bliss will also seek revenge against Bayley and company.
Alexa Bliss and Damage Ctrl also had their issues. After being attacked backstage on the October 3 edition of WWE RAW, Alexa Bliss challenged IYO SKY to a match.
SKY and Bliss headlined the show. The former Women’s Champion had SKY set up in the corner of the ring. Before Goddess could hit Twisted Bliss, Bayley jumped on the ring apron to distract her. IYO SKY capitalized with a slam and followed it up with a Moonsault for the final victory.
Damage CTRL added insult to injury and beat down Alexa Bliss, Asuka, and Bianca Bellair after the match. Bliss is still carrying Lily the Doll, so maybe she can bring a supernatural element to the Wargames team at WWE Survivor Series.
Regardless of her gimmick, Alexa Bliss’ prowess in wrestling is something for all to see. She can add some sparkle and technicality to a match while having a point to prove against role models and her allies.
2. Candice LeRae may have a point to prove
Candice LeRae recently returned to WWE after taking a break to celebrate becoming a mother. She returns as a surprise opponent for Nikki ASH and easily defeats her.
On Monday’s edition of Red Brand, LeRae sat down with Kathy Kelly for an interview. Damage CTRL interrupts and claims that they are in control of the entire division. The former NXT star mentioned how Bayley failed to win the RAW Women’s Championship from Bianca Belair.
Damage CTRL responded with an attack that knocked the camera to the end of the section. Poison Pixie is likely out for revenge on next Monday’s WWE RAW.
She would also be a great addition to the babyface side of Wargames. The former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion would love nothing more than to be on the radar of the rest of the women’s division. A great performance from Survivor Series can do the trick.
#1. Becky Lynch could make a last-minute return at WWE Survivor Series
Whenever the guy comes around again, she’ll have a chip on her shoulder. Becky Lynch was a heel in her match against Bianca Baylor at this year’s SummerSlam in Nashville.
WWE’s EST was victorious in her hometown and retained the RAW Women’s Championship. She also avenged her embarrassing quick loss to Lynch at SummerSlam 2021.
After the match, Big Time Becks turned babyface and stood by Bellar when Damage CTRL debuted. The former and current RAW Women’s Champions stood tall as Damage CTRL retreated. However, the group attacked and beat Lynch backstage the following night on WWE RAW.
Becky Lynch suffered a shoulder injury during her RAW Women’s Championship match at WWE SummerSlam. The attack further aggravated her trauma and she subsequently switched off her television.
No doubt The Man Damage will go after Ctrl when she returns. She could be the final addition to the Wargames team in WWE Survivor Series.
