In 2022 comes the arrival of the God of War Ragnarok, who opposes Cratos and Atrius from Norse mythology. From Kratos to Thor, every actor has so far been confirmed for God of War Ragnarok.

God of War 2018 introduces Kratos and his son Atres, who are older and more tired of the world, after the huge success of the original troll. Soft Reboot brings brand new cast and motion-captured animations to bring these characters to life.

The highly-anticipated sequel will arrive on November 9, 2022 and a ton of cast members have been revealed. Every new and returning character and actor from God of War Ragnarok is here.

But beware if you haven’t played in God of War 2018, because there are minor spoilers ahead.

Christopher Judge – Kratos

Of course, Christopher returns as Judge Cratos in the God of War Ragnarok. After defeating Baldur and reaching Jotunheim, when Thor came to his door at the end of the Battle of God (2018), Cratos was dragged back into the Norse world of God and demons.

The judges may have been known to play teal in the Stargate series, but they have also starred in video games with World of Warcraft and, more recently, Marvel’s Avengers, T-Challa, Black Panther.

Sunny Suljik – Atrius

Sunny Sullivan as Atrius in Ragnarok, the god of war

God of War Ragnarok continues the journey of Cratos and Atrius in Midgard, and Sunny Suljic repeats the role of Cratos’ son.

Sunny Suljic was a relative newcomer when God of War was released in 2018 and has since worked with Jack Black and Kate Blanchett on Joanna Hill’s Mid 90’s and The House with a Clock in Its Walls.

Ryan Hearst – Thor

Ryan Hurst as Thor in God of War Ragnarok

Fans of the God of War knew what a sequel would be when the Norse god of thunder, Thunder, came to the door of Cratos and Atrius. Ryan Hearst takes on the role, which could be Kratos’ strongest opponent.

Despite being a skilled actor, God of War Ragnarok will be Hurst’s first-ever video game role. He has previously worked for Sons of Anarchy, The Walking Dead and The Mysterious Benedict Society of Disney +.

Daniel Bisutti – Freya

Friend-opponent Freya returns to the God of War Ragnarok, with Daniel Bisutti rediscovering her role as the Norse goddess.

Promising to rain “every pain, every violation imaginable” on Kratos, Bisutti is going to play a very different version of Freya than we saw in the first game. Bisutti has recently worked in several films and TV projects in the TV series Dwight in Shining Armor.

Laya Delion Hess – Angraboda

Laya Delion Hess as Angarboda in God of War Ragnarok

Laya DeLeon Hayes made her debut as Angarboda in God of War Ragnarok, known in Norse mythology as the ‘Mother of Monsters’. Depending on how closely GoW adheres to the myth, Angraboda should be a favorite for Atrius.

Hayes provided the voice for Rail in the League of Legends and appeared in The Equalizer TV series and starred in Kung Fu Panda: Pause of Destiny.

Alastair Duncan – Mimir

Mimir in God of War Ragnarok

Alistair Duncan returns as Mimir in The God of War Ragnarok, or if you’re a Kratos, just to provide important backgrounds and performances for Kratos and Atrius while traveling through the ‘Head’, Midguard and the nine regions.

Duncan’s voice may have been heard by most at some point, as the actor provided voice work for a number of projects, including Mass Effect Trilogy, Uncharted 3, and Modern Warfare 2019. He voiced celebrities in middle-earth games and described God. War novels.
