Someone has finally decided to make an RPG set in the Warhammer 40k universe! And someone has Owlcat games, the studio behind a rather good Pathfinder game. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 – New behind-the-scenes video

This may be the most anticipated Warhammer game, but unfortunately the Skulls have not introduced any new gameplay for Space Marine 2. What we got was a behind-the-scenes feature, but with some mo-cap footage and some publicity from developer Saber, the video unfortunately doesn’t offer anything new about the upcoming sequel.

Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge released

Horus Heresy: Legions creator developer Everguild announces new Warhammer-themed digital card game: Warpforge. Set to release on PC and mobile in 2023, Warhammer 40k: Warpforge is a CCG with all the major components of the 40k universe, including Imperium, Chaos, Aldari, Necrons, Orcs and Tyranids. Each group is explored by a single-player campaign and can be pitched against your friends in a competitive mode. Expect deckbuilding, regular and time-limited competitions and fast battles.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide – New Movie Trailer

Darktide is now a few months away. Developer Fatshark has set a release date of September 13th, and so we have little time left to join fellow friends and make our way through the underworld. The Skulls Showcase didn’t reveal anything new, yet we did get a trailer for a new movie featuring Nurgal’s scariest creature and even a little bit of psychedelic action.

Total War: Warhammer 3 – Immortal Empire is coming

As expected, the Creative Assembly will combine these three Total War: Warhammer Games together to create a larger campaign involving each group. Named Immortal Empires, it is set to enter open beta in Q3 2022. Blood Bowl 3 – New beta and two new teams announced

Nacon and Cyanide Studios have announced that the new beta for Blood Bowl 3 will be held on Steam from today until June 12. The beta will feature six playable groups: Black Orcs, Imperial Nobility, Eleven Union, Dwarfs, Chaos Renegades and Old World Alliance. The last two groups on that list are brand new teams, never seen before in a Blood Bowl video game. These new teams are also unusual, as they are made up of characters from other teams. The Old World Alliance, for example, is a group of humans, dwarves, half-breeds, and even a tree man. The idea is to provide flexibility, as well as to create a little friction between individual players (for example, dwarfs can’t play well with humans). elves, and chaos.

Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector – the new sister of Battle Fiction and Demonic Inspiration mode

Slytherin Software announces that Warhammer 40k: Battlesector will receive a new Faction Pack DLC, which will be added to the Sisters of Battle game. NeocoreGames announced that the Diablo-like Warhammer 40k Game Inquisitor – Martyr will be upgraded to PS5 and Xbox Series X / S later this year. The new-gen version will include all 25 DLC packs and extensions, as well as enhanced features such as native 4K support, high resolution textures, improved physics and destructive environments, support for cross-gen multiplayer and PS5 DualSense controllers.

Tanks’ World Warhammer 40,000 Battle Pass

Wargaming has partnered with Games Workshop for World of Tank’s Battle Pass Season VIII, which will feature prizes with ultramarines, death guards and the Evil Sons Orcs.

Warhammer mobile gaming

In addition to console and PC announcements, Warhammer Skulls also features a dedicated mobile gaming segment. Pre-registration for Tactics was announced, a new update for Horse Harassment is coming: Legions, Cursed City is being added to Warhammer Quest, new modes and groups are being added to Lost Crusade, Chaos Nights are being added to Combat Cards and Seoul. The arena is being updated with Captain Evalener.
